Need a hand?

Codes are six characters, letters and numbers, and you can type them with or without the dash. Joining only works while the game is still in the lobby: once the host starts, plots are dealt and the door closes. Ask the host to start a new game, or to let you watch the reveal as a spectator.

Open play.sideplot.app again on the same phone and the same browser. You'll rejoin as yourself, with your plot, claims and score where you left them. Private or incognito windows forget you when they close, so use a normal one.

The game keeps running without them, and the timer doesn't stop. Hosting can be handed to someone else, so the reveal still happens.

New players can't get a plot once the game has started, because every target is already taken. They can watch the reveal if the host allows spectators, and join the next game.

Tap Reroll once for a different plot aimed at the same person, or Skip to sit this one out. No penalty, no explanation, and you still get to accuse and watch the reveal.

That's what the reveal is for. The target confirms or rejects each stage, and if you disagree, the host can put it to a quick vote of everyone else. Majority wins. A tie doesn't count.

Open play.sideplot.app on your phone and tap Create a game. Put your phone where people can scan the QR code, or read the code out loud.

iPhone and Android apps are on the way. Until then the whole game runs in the browser, for hosts and guests.
